After breakfast we backed up to Jaco to buy bulk supplies at the Maxi Bodega (kind of like a mini Price Club) then headed south towards Uvita and Ojochal.
The highway was in great condition, and it was smooth sailing to Uvita, where we stopped off to say hello to our friends at the Dome Restaurant, which sits in front of a very complete mall that has a pharmacy, framing shop, Internet cafe, law office, clothing store
and is across the street from BM, a major grocery store where we do most of our grocery shopping and the Marina Ballena, a good local restaurant with big flat-screen TVs that show soccer 24/7, it seems.
At the grocery store we met our property manager who gave us the keys to the Villa and off we went.
